| 内容記述 | An endangered water beetle, Orectochilus punctipennis, was newly discovered in Kamogawa River, Kyoto City, and this is the second collecting record since 1884 in Kyoto Prefecture. A SEM observation on the external features was made for the adult female. The female genitalia were described and drawn for the first time, being compared with those of O. yaeyamensis and O. regimbarti. The morphological features were discussed in the context of the taxonomic revision of this genus. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
