| 内容記述 | 1,中国桜桃を西京大学附属物園に於いて昭和28年及び昭和29年の両年に亘つて果樹園芸の立場より調査した。2,開花期は3月中下旬, 成熟期は5月中旬であつた。3,枝幹より気根を出し挿木繁殖が非常に容易である。4,花粉発芽試験に於いては6℃∿-1.2℃にて, 35%∿39%発芽した。5,授粉試験に於てュスラウメ花粉を交配したものは不結実に終り, ヒガンザクラ花粉を交配したものは一番よく結実し, 放任及び自家授粉はこれについだ。又ヒガンザクラ花粉を交配したものは果実の大きさ, 品質共に最良であり, 自家授粉のものは一番劣つていた。即ち, 不完全自家親和である。6,開花期の雨は低温(0℃∿-3℃)よりも結実に悪影響を及ぼすやうに考えられた。7,家庭用果樹としての果実の利用, 早期開花のため花木としての観賞的価値, 更に発根極めて容易なための挿木繁殖による砧木的価値等で再検討の要を認める。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | 1. In the both year of 1953 and 1954,Prunus pauciflora BUNGE (chinese cherry) were researched from view-point of pomology in Botanical garden of Saikyo University. 2. There were considerable differences in the blooming and maturing periods among the other cherries (Prunus avium L. or Pruns Cerasus L.), and then chinese cherries bloomed on the middle and last part of March, these fruits ripened on the middle part of May. 3. As it break out many aerial root from the old branches, propagation by cuttage is very easy. 4. The rate of germination of its pollen was 35%∿39% at 0℃∿6℃. 5. In pollination test, best fruit-setting was observed in the flowers pollinated with pollen from Prunus subhirtella MIQ., and open and self-pollination followed it. But no fruit-setting was obtained in the case of cross-pollination with pollen from Prunus tomentosa THUNB. Size and quality of the fruits crossed with Prunus subhirtella MIQ., were much larger and best, the fruits produced in chinese cherries selfed were much smaller. Chinese cherry may be imperfect in self-compatibility. 6. The rainy weather in blooming periods had bad influence on its fruit-setting than low temperature (0℃∿-3℃). 7. In conclusion, the chinese cherry is worthy for home fruit tree, flower tree and may be valuable for stock plant to the sweet and sour cherries. | |||||
