| 内容記述 | This study was carried out from 1948 to 1950,at Oe experiment forest, to find the breast height form-factors for single trees of Hinoki (Chamaecyparis obtusa ENDLICHER). The data were obtained from 254 cutting trees of the cultivated pure stand by Huber's sectional measurement. The sample trees used in this study, particularly the large diameter class trees. were not plenty to research on this subject, but from the data at present, we have had the following results. (1) In practically, there is no much difference between the stem volumes which calculated by F (H) and F (D). (2) In the irregular height stand or the uneven aged stand mixed by single trees we can not measure easily the actual height of the individual tree for their closed canopies, and then it occurs often the error of height. Such a case, it seems to take F D) rather than F (H). (3) For measurement of the stem volumes, it is used F (H) generally, but if there is no effect of tree height, as we find occationary in an even aged stand. we ought to take F (D), and it will be obtained more accurate value than calculated value by F (H). | |||||||||||||
