| 内容記述 | 1 本学大枝演習林に植栽せる18年生のカイガンシヨウと, その林内に侵入せる15年生のアカマツとの単木成長を比較した。2 現存立木について調査せるところでは, 樹高・直径・材積, いずれの成長においても, カイガンショウがアカマツに優れていることが認められた。3 カイガンショウは過去において多数の枯損木を生じ, なお, ますます, 増加する傾向がある。このため, 当地方におけるカイガンショウの造林は, 策を得たものとは云い難い。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | 1. The growth of "Kaigansho" (Pinus pinaster AIT.), planted in mountainous district in Kyoto Prefecture, was compared with the growth of "Akamatsu" (Pinus densiflora S. et Z.) which invaded the stand of the former. The test trees of the former were 18 years old and the latter 15 years old. 2. The growth of height, diameter and volume of "Kaigansho" was greater than that of "Akamatsu" 3. A great number of "Kaigansho", however, were damaged by wind, insects and others and the damaged trees are on the increase. Therefore it will be inexpedient to afforest this species in this district. | |||||
