Agriculture}, month = {Nov}, note = {トマト品種大型福寿を用い, 種々の環境条件が根の溶存酸素吸収量におよぼす影響を調べた。トマト根は約0.2-6mg/根の乾燥重(1g)/1時間, の溶存酸素を培養液より吸収した。トマト根は, 培養液溶存酸素濃度が高い場合も1ppm前後までの低い場合にもほぼ同じ割合で酸素を吸収した。狭い温度範囲および暗黒下では培養液温度が高くなるにしたがい酸素吸収量は増加したが, 広い温度範囲および茎葉部に光のあたる状態ではその逆の現象が多くみられた。茎葉部の光の強さは, 酸素吸収量に影響をあたえなかった。栽培中の培養液溶存酸素濃度の違いは, 種々の給液方式間では, 特に低い値を示した間欠給液区を除いて, 酸素吸収力に影響をあたえなかった。, Effects of environmental factors on oxygen uptake from the nutrient soln by the intact root of water-cultured "Ohgata-Fukujyu" tomatoes was studied. Dissolved oxygen consumption by the tomato root was 0.2-6mg/g root dry wt/hr under the conditions of the present study. Nearly the same rate of oxygen uptake persisted over a wide range of dissolved oxygen concn in the nutrient soln. Within a narrow range of temperature, or in darkness, rise in soln temperature increased the oxygen uptake, while under illumination, the reverse was often the case, which may suggest an increased internal aeration through the root air space. Light intensity had no effect on the oxygen uptake rate.
