内容記述 | 京都市内3ケ所のキャベツ畑でモンシロチョウ幼虫およびその寄生蜂アオムシサムライコマユバチについて9月中旬∿11月中旬に各畑で株を抽出単位として標本抽出を行ない, つぎの結果を得た。1)モンシロチョウ幼虫の空間的分布は共通のkをもつ負の二項分布に適合した。2)アオムシサムライコマユバチに寄生されたモンシロチョウ幼虫の株ごとの空間的分布はポアッソン分布に適合した。3)キャベツ1株当りのモンシロチョウ幼虫の密度が高くなるにつれて被寄生株率Piも大きくなった。すなわち, 幼虫密度の高い株ほど寄生を受けやすいようである。4)株ごとの被寄生幼虫数はせいぜい3個体で, 本調査で得られた株当りの寄主幼虫の密度範囲内ではその密度との間に何ら関係がなく, さらに株ごとの被寄生率は寄主幼虫密度の増加につれて減少した。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

内容記述 | In this paper it was studied from the spacial point of view how the larvae of common cabbage butterfly, Pieris rapae crucivora, are parasitized by one of their parasites., Apanteles glomeratus. For this purpose eight samples, in which a cabbage plant was adopted as a sampling unit, were drawn in three fields in October, 1964. Though the spacial distribution of host larvae was recognized to fit to negative binomial with a common parameter k, the distribution pattern of parasite on a plant fitted to poisson distribution. It can not, however, be concluded from this result that parasite adults fly to a cabbage plant at random regardless of the density of host larvae because we have no data on their flight to plants but only the results of parasitism. If we assume that the parasitism occurrs in a certain probability regardless of the density of host larvae on a plant, we gain a value P_T of this probability in all fields, which were divided the number of plants including parasitized hosts by the total number of plants. So if this assumption is valid, the values of P_i which were divided the number of plants including parasitized hosts by the total plants in each host density on a plant, did not depart significantly from the value P_T. The values of P_i are, however, found to increase with rise of the host density. This result does not necessarily mean that adults of parasite fly contagiously to plants with dependence of the host density on a plant, because adults of parasite have the more chance to succeed their oviposition on plants with the higher density of host even if they fly to plants at random. On the other hand, it was found that the percentage of parasitism decreases successively with increase of host density on a plant and also only one or two of hosts are parasitized on a plant regardless of the host density. The random flight of females of parasite to a plant may be supposed with comparable validity from two facts of the increase of the value of P_i and the decrease of parasitism in each host density. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
