HIRATANENASHI). As the results, nitrogen, especially insoluble nitrogen, total carbohydrate, starch and total sugar contents of non-bearing shoots were increased before flower buds formation. Similarly, the C-N ratio of non-bearing shoots was increased before flower buds formation.
