| 内容記述 | Blueberryの産業的栽培は北米において近々50年のうちに長足の進展を遂げている。Blueberry, 特にHighbush blueberryはわが国においても気候的及び土壌的見地から十分その栽培が可能である。わが国における野生のコケモモ属の植物は約20種(Species)が知られているがこれらは全て未改良で果実生産を目的とした栽培は行なわれていない。将来果樹園での栽培が可能視されるのはナツハゼ(アキグミ)(Vaccinium Oldhami MIQ.)その他数種に過ぎないのではないかと思われる。北米で改良されたHighbush blueberryの品種であるJersey, Rancocas. Rubel及びStanleyをわが国で試作した成績から次のようなことが指摘できる。1).これらのHighbush blueberryは生育旺盛, 結果年令が早く且つ豊産である。2).果粒の成熟期は6月中旬∿7月中旬であり, Jersey及びRubelの熟期は約1週間Rancocas及びStanleyよりも早い。3).検糖器による果粒の糖分含量は7月上旬(1960)において, Jersey : 9.0∿11.8%, Rancocas : 11.0∿12.8%, Rubel : 9.2∿10.2%, Stanley : 9.0∿10.8%, 程度である。4).各品種共緑枝挿で80%以上の発根率を示し, 発根の時期は8月下旬から9月の候であり, ホルモン処理その他の予措の必要はない。5).挿箱は硝子で覆い, 当時の陽光を制限するため日覆下で管理する要がある。発根はその管理と密接な関連がある。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | In North America, the industrial cultivation of the blueberry has been developed remarkably in the recent about fifty years. In Japan, the Blueberry is little significant at the present, but it, especially High-bush blueberry, has been estimated to cultivate for the orchard from climatic and edaphic standpoints. Vaccinium-species of wild growing in Japan have been known about twenty species. All of them have been unimproved to cultivate. V. Oldhami MIQ. and other few species of these wild growing are considered to have the possibility of the cultivation for the fruit, in the future. In Japan, the experimental cultivation of High-bush blueberry varieties as Jersey, Rancocas, Rubel and Stanley suggested following things : 1). The cultivation of High-bush blueberry has been wanted for its early bearing, vigorous growing and profitable fruiting. 2). The fruit matures from the middle of June to the early of July, and Jersey, Rubel mature a week earlier than Rancocas and Stanley. 3). The saccharimeteric Sugar content of berries at the early of July in 1960 indicated as follow : , Jersey : 9.0∿11.8%, Rancocas : 11.0∿12.8%, Rubel : 9.2∿10.2% and Stanley : 9.0∿10.8%. 4). Each variety indicates more than eighty percent of the rooting ratio by the green cutting, and the rooting season is from the late of August to September. Hormone and other treatments for the rooting are almost unnecessary. 5). The cutting box must be covered with the glass, and must be treated under the shade for the regulation of the sun light. The rooting of the green cutting correlates with these treatments severely. | |||||||||||||
