| 内容記述 | 本論文はPhytophthora capsici LEONIANの性現象を追究したものである。1)本菌游走子嚢の間接発芽によつて生じた游走子を, micromanipulatorで単個分離した55分離系統は二群に分かれ, すなわち43分離系統は有性器官および游走子嚢を形成し, 明らかにhomothallismを示めしたが, 他の12分離系統は全く不稔に終つた。2)游走子単個分離系統をナス果実に接種して病原性を比較したが, 稔性の43分離系統群は何れもナスに対して病原性を有した。しかし, 不稔性の12分離系統群は何れもナス果実に対して病原性を示めさなかつた。この接種試験の結果病斑上に生じた游走子嚢について再游走子単個分離をおこなつた結果, 何れもオートミル培地上に有性器官を形成したから, 本菌は明らかにhomothallismを示めすことを再び確認した。3)游走子単個分離系統間の組合せをつくり対峙培養をおこなつたが, 稔性の系統群は常にその発育域内に繁殖器官を形成したのに反し, 不稔の系統群はその発育域内はもちろん, 対峙の菌叢接触部付近にも何等特記すべき変化が認められず, かつ繁殖器官の形成も認められなかつた。4)直接発芽せる游走子嚢を単個分離したものは, 常に有性器官および游走子嚢を形成した。5)游走子の単個分離系統はオートミル寒天培地上, 20℃, 1ヵ月後に卵胞子を形成するが, 30℃では全然形成しない。また游走子嚢の形成も30℃よりも20℃の方が良好である。6)以上の実験結果から, 本菌は性現象としてhomothallismを示す。 | |||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The present paper deals with the results of experiment on the sexuality of the fungus, Phytophthora capsici LEONIAN, in connection with the two types of sporangial germination. Experiments were carried out on the culture of singly isolated zoospore and sporangium. Forty three isolates among fifty five formed the sexual organs and sporangia on oatmeal agar. Result of this experiment showed that the organism was homothallic. The other twelve isolates did not form any reproductive organ, while the growth of their mycelium on the medium was somewhat faster and the density of the colony less than that of the isolates forming the reproductive organs. The singly isolated zoospores were inoculated on the eggplant fruit. As the results of this experiment, the isolates forming the reproductive organ showed pathogenicity on the eggplant fruit and moreover the morphology of the sporangium formed on the lesion was the same as that of the control, but the isolates forming no reprodutive organ showed no pathogenicity on the eggplant fruit. The isolates of the latter may be sterile. Single spore isolations were repeated one after another by inoculation and single zoospore isolation. Cultures of the fertile isolates formed zoospores and sporangia on oatmeal agar in all cases. When two colonies of the singly isolated zoospore were allowed to come in contact with one another on the oatmeal agar, the behavior did not show any interaction between them. The single isolates of direct germinated sporangia always formed reproductive organ on the medium. The oospores were observed on oatmeal agar in one month at 20℃, but none at 30℃. From this the sporangial formation is more favorable at 20℃ than at 30℃. Based on the above mentioned experiments, Phytophthora capsici possesses homothallic behavior in its sexual phenomenon. | |||||||||||||||||||||
