内容記述 | 竹材に関する既往の研究成果にもとづいて, 竹材の収縮にさいして発生するcollapseを少くする乾燥および試験体条件(中心柱を内外側部に区分し積層接着した試験体)で, モウソウチクおよびマダケの径切両収縮を検討した結果(Table 3および4参照)(1)容積密度と径切両収縮の和(近似的容積収縮)との間に一次関係が認められる(Fig. 2参照)。(2)径切両収縮の夫々において外側部は内側部よりも大で, 切線収縮において約1.5倍, 半径収縮において約1.2倍である(Table 5参照)。(3)外側部において切線収縮が半径収縮よりも稍々大で(異方度約1.2), 内側部においては横断面で略々等方的収縮を示す。また, 靱皮繊維および柔組織の収縮を微小切片について顕微鏡写真(例Fig. 3∿5)的に検討した結果(Table 6参照)(1)径切両収縮について, 柔組織は靱皮繊維よりも小さく, モウソウチクにおいて靱皮繊維の約20%, マダケにおいて約25%である。(2)靭皮繊維と柔組織は夫々の横断面において略々等方的収縮を示す。 | |||||||||||||

内容記述 | The purpose of this study has been to ascertain the anisotropic shrinkage in transverse section of bamboo, and to determine the shrinkage of microscopical elements (vascular bundle and parenchyma) in central cylinder of bamboo (Mosochiku : Phyllostachys pubescens MAGEL and Madake : Phyl. reticulata C. KOCH). The tangential and radial (in direction of thickness of stem-wall) shrinkage of isolated outer and inner part in bamboo stem from the filled with water condition to the oven-dry condition was determined by measuring the length of laminated piece. The shrinkage of vascular bundle and parenchyma was determined by measuring the tangential (longitudinal as for radial section) and radial length in micro-photographs of the fine transverse and radial section in filled with water and oven-dry conditions as shown Fig. 3∿5. The results of experiments obtained are summarized as follows : 1. On the shrinkage in transverse section of bamboo (cf. Table 3 and 4) : 1) About the isolated outer and inner part in bamboo stem, the volumetric shrinkage (sum of tangential and radial shrinkage : β_t+β_r) increases linearly with specific gravity based on oven-dry weight and green volume (R), as shown in Fig. 2. 2) The tangential and radial shrinkage of isolated outer part in bamboo stem are larger respectively than the tangential and radial shrinkage of isolated inner part as shown in Table 5. 3) The degree of anisotropic shrinkage in transverse section, the ratio of tangential shrinkage to radial shrinkage (β_t+β_r) of the isolated outer part are larger than 1 (Mosochiku : 1.09∿1.20∿1.36,Madake : 1.09∿1.17∿1.23). On the other hand, the shrinkage in transverse section of isolated inner part are almost isotropic (β_t+β_r : Mosochiku 0.79∿1.00∿1.19,Madake 0.88∿0.95∿1.02). 2. On the shrinkage of vascular bundle (bundle sheath) and parenchyma of bamboo (Table 6) : 1) The tangential and radial shrinkage of bundle sheath are respectively larger than the tangential and radial shrinkage of parenchyma. And the ratio of shrinkage of paenchyma to the one of bundle sheath are about 0.20 in Mosochiku and about 0.25 in Madake. 2) The shrinkage of bundle sheath and parenchyma in each transverse section are almost isotropic, and β_t+β_r of bundle sheath are 0.6∿1.2∿1.8 in Mosochiku, and 0.4∿1.0∿1.7 in Madake, β_t+β_r of parenchyma are 0.72∿1.03∿1.50 in Mosochiku and 0.75∿1.00∿1.29 in Madake. | |||||||||||||
